Story of Naga- the angry snake!

Once up on a time, there lived a poisonous snake under a banyan tree.

His name was Naga.

Naga was an angry snake. He bit everyone that came near him.

So no one dared to go near him.

This made him very lonely.

He went to a wise man and asked for his advice.

The wise man said “Naga, your anger has made everyone go away from you. Don’t bite everyone that comes to you”

Naga agreed.

From next day, Naga did not harm anyone and just lay down under the tree.

After some days, some children passing by teased Naga. He did not move.

Then they threw stones at him. Naga still did not move.

By evening, Naga was injured all over the body.

He went to the wise man again and explained what had happened.

The wise man said: “ Naga, I told you not to bite everyone that come to you. But, when in danger, scare them away by hissing”

Naga went home and lived happily ever after!
